Dragon Age: Origins

So it's by BioWare...haven't seen any hype about it, is it good? I thought I might get it seeing as my recent delve into their games (Mass Effect) left me breathless and I've heard nothing but good things about the others (did play a little bit of KOTOR, good game but didn't like the fighting system).

I don't know what you're talking about, that game looks awesome.Idk, I was expecting a fantasy Mass Effect but it looks like it's more in the vein of KOTOR (gameplay was meh to me) and the graphics look pretty bad when Mass Effect was so beautiful.

Off topic, anyone who complains about the combat in KotOR doesn't know how to set up their character properly.

On topic, since this is a Bioware game it's almost automatically awesome as far as I'm concerned, but it's strange that I haven't seen a single trailer or announcement... anywhere.

I chose the elf story line and I gotta admit its slow to start, but once you get passed the boring ass circle of magi area, its fan fucking tastic.

Probably because Dragon Age: Origins was primarily intended for a niche circle of gamers (the Baldur's Gate crowd).
