I'm getting kinda tired of Windows and all it's space usage. I found a tutorial that can install iTunes, and that's pretty much the only windows program I use. Only thing is that I get my Xbox Live from a bridged connection, and i'm not sure how to do that in Ubuntu.

I've used Ubuntu before, I pretty much know how everything works.

My pc is:
IBM T43 Thinkpad Laptop
ATI RADEON X300 Integrated
1 gig of ramz
40 gb HDD Space (this is why i'm mad at space usage)

So the questions are;
should I switch to Ubuntu?
does anyone know how to bridge connections to let something else use the wireless internet?
Pidgen or Wine Xfire?

Go ahead. Though expect to come back to windows if you like gaming. Cedego and Wine weren't that good when I used it.

If you're using it for browsing the web, office work, definitely give it a try.

It's more than you likely you will use the console at least once, so if you're not that techy...the ubuntu community is very helpful and full of solutions to problems so you'll probably learn quickly.

Sorry for fragmented post.

Fuck no

fucking awful shit, took viruses, and just about all the user friendliness in windows, and threw it out the window.

Arch linux would be a better choice :-3
