What the point of these things? DVD doesn't support past 16x.

Why do they have these, or 22x for that matter, in the first place???

... Still doesn't answer my question. I've looked everywhere, but how does a 16x DVD support 24x???

the 16 is probably a direct correlation between the write:rpm ratio. this writes information onto a dvd faster but is still relatively close to 11,000 rpms, which is what the current 16x dvd writers spin up ass.

dude tbh, i am super messed up.
