Interesting concept, but the execution confuses the hell out of me. What did I just watch? I feel like I just saw some sort of Call of Duty/Mirror's Edge crossover.

e: It's the lack of segregation between gameplay and CGI. I'm impressed at how well they made it flow together, but on the other hand I find more charm in montages when it's clear on what's gameplay and what's fluff. Also, the presentation was just too damn surreal for my tastes.

Deja Vu is exactly what he said in most cases: fragments of past memories resonating with a current situation. As far as quantum physics is concerned in multi-dimensions, I wouldn't hold it past the theory simply because it's an interesting theory. However, it's really nothing more than the former. Deja Vu is the resonance of memories to a current situation and psychological/neural science has generally proved this through various studies, even though it hasn't been pinpointed yet (just like a lot of things in the brain). Either way, good vid, but I wish it would have focused less on the quantum fluff and more on the psychological aspects.

People do realize that 3D printing technology has been around for quite awhile right? The new thing is the affordable plastic printers, yet CNC machines are essentially 3D printers and they print metal. If you know what you're doing, you can run it in low with no gameplay problems. However, like the video said you'll need a lot of power to run replays and play games on the best settings.

Also, you know the rule with Halo where the more AI that fill the screen the more laggy it gets? Well imagine that with Starcraft after two armies are maxed out on the same screen. That's not even ruling in how the Protoss Mothership rapes performance.

Not at all. In fact, the Mothership Core is now an early game unit that eventually evolves into a Mothership. Vortex is being phased out though, which many are glad about because it was such a coin-flip of a move and made Protoss versus Zerg matches a coin flip as well since it was basically a requirement in the lategame. HotS is turning into a much better expansion as a result IMO.

Have you been keeping up with the recent stuff at all Bodz? The Moship Core now can move freely, attacks ground units, casts a detect field for energy cost, and can cast a Photon Overcharge on a Nexus for energy to make IT a huge cannon. Recall is also cast from the Moship Core/Mothership to a Nexus of choice to retreat the Protoss army. I am ecstatic about that.

...obviously I'm talking about Crysis 2's story. It's so backwards. Even the explanation of what happened between Crysis 1 and Crysis 2 doesn't address a lot of what happened form Crysis 1. And then the end of Crysis 2 was an M. Night Shamyalan twist when you're magically taken over by Prophet again because the suit is some crazy piece of hardware.

Not really. Halo 1 has some disconnects in regards to Halo 1 to Halo 2 and H2 to H3, but for the most part, a lot of the obscure stuff is explain through many books. Crysis doesn't have that kind of background.
