Xbox Live won't accept credit card :(

WTFFFFF. Xbox Live is neither accepting my Mom not Dad's credit cards for Microsoft Points. It keeps saying the cards are invalid. They even checked it themselves to make sure the information is valid. Does anyone know of a way to get points without MS cards? I remember back in the day people use to put cash into some special cards, which worked like a pre paid credit card? Kind of like a gift card, but it could be used for anything. Anyone have any details on how I can get one or what the fuck is up with Live accepting cards?

Just go to any store that sells video games, and buy a Microsoft Points card. They come in 1400 and 2800 I believe.

Did you try using your credit card on http://live.xbox.com/

(tbh, I never had a credit card associated with my account. I always bought 1-year live cards for about $10 less than Microsoft charges and Microsoft Points cards.)

I have the same problem with my debit card. The bank said it went through, for $0.00 but the stupid thing kept saying it was invalid. This was when I was trying to set up an xbox live account.

I had to buy a card from Wal Mart. Really disappointing.

go to your local bank, they probably sell prepaid visas at cost.

Just go to ANY place that sells games, like your local best buy or gamestop, hell even 7-11 sells them! You get 1600 and 4000 points i think. I got 1600 points in card form a couple months ago.

Why don't you just by a points card, or go on Amazon and buy a code?

Hmm, for a few months now Live has been telling me that the card linked to my account is no longer active, and my subscription should have run out by now, yet I still have a working gold account.
