My tablet seemingly stopped working over night. I've had it for a year and its been working without a single incident until now :smith:
The light does not turn green when I press on it with either the mouse or pen. I removed the pen and mouse for the properties panel and they wont re-appear when I put them near the tablet. I also tried updating to the latest driver.
I really need this thing working soon so any help would certainly be appreciated.

Those have the wire that are stuck in, connected to the tablet.... right? (I know the Intuos 4s have a detachable cord... so ... just making sure)
My Intuos 4 had a similar problem and that was just in the wire... so I bought a new wire... so I'm hoping for you that it has a detachable wire... even though I'm 92% sure they don't :/.
Have you tried the tablet on other PCs?... have you tried running your fingers along the wire, straightening it out while plugged in? (watch the light when you do this :P)
Worse case scenario you buy a new USB cord and re solder it in yourself.... which isn't terrible.

The tablet itself is powered and fine, its just the pen and mouse that don't work. And no detachable cord.

If it really is fubar I'd suggest investing in a tabletscreen laptop.

Cintiqs are much too expensive for my budget, especially since I just bought that camera.
I was supposed to give a presentation on how to use photoshop and wacoms today :maddowns:

nononono not a Cintiq, a Tablet Laptop. If you're lucky you can get a decent one for 400, 500 dollars.
