... ugh. Our teacher asked us some of the things we were interested in. What I didn't realize is that she was going to make us do a research paper on them. Welp, the topic I ended up with was "People's different opinions on different genres of anime". Since anime is so rampant on this forum I decided I'd ask you guys: What are your favorite genres of anime? +rep and whatnot will be given.

Thanksssssssssss.

I really don't like anime, but if I had to watch it I would go with comedy.

I read the mangas Bleach (This is the only anime I physically watch) + One Piece, Pandora Hearts, and Naruto. I hate the English version of any of those animes. It's so horrible it makes me want to carve out my eyes and brain.

Mystery.

I'm going to assume that would fall under shows like Paranoia Agent.

Look, I really don't have a choice here. I wanted to change it to people's opinions on cartoons... my teacher didn't let me change it.

Action and Adventure for sure. Naruto, DB, FMA,TTGL And so on, are awesome in my opinion. TTGL is both Mecha and Action i would say. Oh yeah, Gundam and Ghost in the shell are awesome also.

I don't think you're going to get enough votes here for anything conclusive.

I voted because I watch things like Ghost in the Shell occasionally. That's more cyberpunk than sci-fi, but w/e.

A. This isn't the only website I'm using. :realsmug:
B. Trust me, I'm not aiming to get anything really conclusive, and my teacher doesn't expect that either. :U

Through my intense research, I have found out that anime is terrible.

Now give me an A.

Hmm, I've only watched full metal alchemist and TTGL (and 3 episodes of Death Note), so idk what to vote for. I guess action adventure?

Cyberpunk is effectively a sub-category of Sci-Fi. So are Steampunk, dieselpunk, biopunk, etc.

I voted Sci-Fi.
