Here's how (http://pcsplace.com/google/how-to-use-google-chrome-extensions-enable-install-remove-uninstall/)

There are a lot ported over from ff and some great new ones.

Anyone else excited that our fastest little browser now has extensions like the big boys?

Wasn't this always Google's intention? Make a basic browser which has great performance and allow for user customization? I'm surprised it took this long, I guess.

Technically, Chrome is barely out of beta stages so I'm not that surprised it took this long.

I don't like the way Google does it. I'll hold on until they simplify the process a bit.

It's a google product, it'll be in "beta" for the next four years.

Not necessarily a bad thing. In my opinion, that just means they'll spend that extra four years on advanced bug-weeding rather than small incremental patches like Firefox.

Simplify?

You click add to chrome and it does it. Its simpler than FF. You don't even have to restart your browser....

The only thing stopping me from switching is the terrible UI.

I love the minimalism.
And the speed...
And the fact that if one page crashes they don't all crash.
And the built in prism functionality.

They finally released the mac version so I was playing with it.

They forgot to include something rather important in the mac version :3.

It makes perfect sense when you stop and consider how Chrome works. Each tab is a separate process. You can drag them around and move them as if they were separate windows. Essentially, the top bar is just a convenient Chrome-specific window task bar, not unlike GNOME having two task bars.
