Oh god. I inadvertently started a StarCraft group at UIUC naught but three or four days ago and now they won't gtfo my network. Day in and day out they've got a game going in the lobby >_<

CU ACM occasionally hosts Starcraft LAN parties. We're mostly all business, though. A friend of mine throws Starcraft parties frequently, and he always totally kicks my ass. The only strategy I've had even a little success with is building a fuckton of carriers and sending them in all at once. I'm bad at RTSs. But somehow I still love to play Starcraft, even though I always lose. :downs:

me and bro focus on mass BC's(terran), Carriers (if we're protoss), or Mutas/Guardians(zerg). Mom builds giant ass photon cannon wall that literally stretches from the farthest out base, to the other side of the map, and is about 5 cannons thick

My sister's coming home from university tomorrow and bringing her laptop. She has a couple friends at U of A that play Starcraft and they want her and I to join them on Bnet sometime in the next couple days. Hopefully my completely n00b playstyle doesn't offend them too much ;)

Holy shit. Best fucking LAN night ever.

Starcraft Original LAN. Inferno and Mastermind VS Matt, Howitzer and Sean.
I was playing protoss because I knew they would overpower me if I played Terran. They all knew I was the best player (and mastermind was shit) so they fucking rushed my ass all together destroying half of my base and crippling my gateways in the first fucking 3 minutes of the game. Mastermind (who had not been attacked at all) sent in a barracks to help defend my base. After that I put all my resources into building photon cannons on the front of my base and behind that I started developing shit tons of zealots and I began researching my only hope to win. Arbiters. I kept getting pounded by waves of enemy's from all 3 of there bases (while mastermind sat in his base un-attacked building a massive army) and for about 5 minutes I was on the brink of defeat. But then my savior arrived. 2 arbiters cloaking all my fucking units. I quite literally raped every fucking group of units they had left and to the point were Matt fucking gave up and dropped. Then MasterMind sent all of his troops into Sean's base annihilating most of his production and basically leaving howitzer too his fate of a huge archon/carrier strike on the upper side of his base. After that all we had to do was mop up and share the glory of a 2v3 victory.
And so ends the epic war of titans on the night of December 19.

I saved that fucking replay for epic win. I'm thinking about uploading it.
