Back on topic this mod looks pretty legit. Loads better looking than that BF2 one...

I'm still ashamed that there still isn't a decent Battlefield-esque Star Wars game out there. I have both Battlefronts and try and tell myself it's good when I'm playing it but the sad fact is it's only because that's all we got.

I added every one of those on my list last night. The only one I found people playing on was the Hardcore server, which is probably the only one I'd play on. The problem was that there were only three people in the server, including myself. Maybe it was because I was playing at 3AM EST?

Alright, I decided to join the server during normal daylight hours. A healthy 26 people were in the server. It's a really great mod and feels like this is what the BF series should have been. Some parts of it don't feel natural, though. Especially in close combat situations. I love how the hardcore server switches gametypes every good couple rounds. I've never played Search and Destroy in any Call of Duty game before this mod and it was actually pretty awesome. I'll have to check it out in Regular COD4 and MW2.

I hate to go offtopic, but can y'all seriously not be haters on Christianity? I'd appreciate it and stuff since I'm religious and that may offend some people here. You have your beliefs and I have mine, but bashing (or trash talking really) about people who try to setup an environment where they can play a NONREAL VIDEO GAME (yeah, Halo is probably the most unrealistic one out there. Hell, by your logic you could say that mario is the same damn thing) together and share the same beliefs. Obviously if you take prospects and general behavior from a video game like Halo or CoD into real life, shit goes crazy, but they aren't doing that. I'm just wanting to ask for some decency and respect for what other people believe.

Now ontopic, this look pretty legit! It makes me almost want to try getting Cod4 on my computer (my computer is shitty for those who are puzzled), but it's the only one I got till College starts. But I'm glad someone finally got a CoD mod in there. Hope it makes some awesome stuff happen in the future.

They were good, not awesome. Battlefront 3 looked like it had some potential, but then they got shut down.

i could never play battlefront 1. that might be because iv only played it on splitscreen with my friend, but there was some motion blur or some shit, and the playing window was so horrible that i couldnt see what the hell i was shooting at. was not a fun experience. i loved battlefront 2 though. i played alot of that.

Republic Commando should be thrown in there, as well. It was an awesome squad-based shooter that was dark and gritty. Lots of action and stealth elements too. It had some glitches in the campaign and lackluster multiplayer, but the singleplayer was the great part about it. I wish they'd make a sequel!
