Post here if you have gotten a iPhone 3GS for whatever reason.

I ask this because I got it about on Saturday (January 2nd, 2010) and it is an awesome phone. The only reason I got it was because my previous iPhone was hugely outdated (it's the first iPhone: iPhone 2G :gonk:) and that there are some applications I cannot use on my 2G iPhone, so I wanted to upgrade.

Also, if you want to, post your favorite applications, be it ultilites, games, entertainment, whatever.

i may not have the iphone 3gs, but i do have the second gen itouch. yours definitely takes the cake for 256mb of ram, and a 600mhz cpu, but i'm still running the 3rd gen firmware, which runs smoothly

they have the same apps, so let me drop my favs on you...

the vlc controller. sweet christ this thing rocks. it's totally worth the 3 bucks i spent on it...

vnc mocha PWNS. again, totally worth the money i spent on it...

the free copy of the us constitution also PWNS. nothing like scrolling through the articles and nit picking policy decisions with friends

tchess, and solitaire are the best thing ever for when i'm bored. they to are the pwn.

the ny times app is also fantastic. it's nice for popping through current events in waiting rooms.

stanza = pure win. it's free, and you have access to THOUSANDS of AWESOME titles...

and uh, the weather channel app. it has a moving radar, and lots of weather info.
