I have started a blog on blogspot.com, that might help you get some money, even if it is a little bit of it.

Now, my blogspot is http://codesmoneymaking.blogspot.com

And I already have my first post in, it talks about a program I like called GomezPeer.

If you feel like reading a tl;dr post for whatever reason, or you might be needing money, come and check it out. There might be something that could get you something good!

Note: If this breaks ANY of Modacity's current rules, would an Admin or Moderator (Yes this includes you snaf <3) kindly PM me, and I will remove the thread.

Note2: Also, PLEASE DO NOT CLICK MY GOOGLE ADSENSE ADS UNLESS YOU ARE SERIOUSLY GOING TO THEM (aka buying something, visiting, etc). The last time I had set up ad's some asshole decided to spam click all my ads on codeybrainshideout.net (which is now dead, since I am on my own hosting and a new domain name) and got me banned from them. Google Adsense said it was okay for me to start anew on my blog so again, PLEASE DON'T CLICK MY AD'S UNLESS YOU ARE SERIOUSLY GOING TO DO SOMETHING ON THEM.

Thank you.

$45 (max) a month is more than I expected from something like this. I usually have my computer on for torrents anyway, so why not make some money for doing nothing? I used your referral too :-3

edit: wonder how many comps you would need for $45 worth?

The fact you "separated links" in case we didnt want to refer you, yet you still did?

Sorry, but thats a -rep in my book.

If I had 3 PC's hooked up and running this would it cover the cost of the electricity I use?

if you leave your computer on 24/7 (never shut it off) using the program for a month you would get:

0.0005 cents x 60 minutes = 0.03 cents

0.03 cents x 24 = 0.72 cents

0.72 cents x 7 days = 5.04 dollars

5.04 dollars x 30 days = 151.20 dollars

So yeah, if my calculations are correct, you would recieve 151.20 dollars for letting the program run on your computer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for a month.

There is however something you should note. I will update the blog to reflect this.

GomezPeer says they will either accept or deny you in 13-14 business days. However, some people have said they have waited 2 MONTHS before they were actually allowed to use GomezPeer. If they were denied, they would still be allowed to use the application, but it would not let you cash out. I got accepted, I signed up in October last year (2009) and on December I got accepted.

Hmm I smell a bit of BS.

I always check referral links to stuff because people try to con other people like this all the time.

Very sly move Codebrain, but you cant get anything past House <<<<<<

Nah its just I hate being BS'd into giving people a referal. I would give him a referral if I made an account.

It was issue with Blogspot and their linking system, he deleted the refer code off link, but it only deleted the visible text, not the hyperlink.

"Reputation has been deleted".
I removed the -rep :D

Way to blow it huge with your math... >_>

It's $0.72 x 30 days, so $21.60 per month.

But also, on their site it says "Processing Time Payments (per min.) $0.0002", which would be only $8.64. Heck, this hardly covers the electric bill for leaving the computer on 24/7.

20 dollars is not worth that kind of a hassle...

It doesn't sound like it, but basically your doing nothing. Just run the program, and thats it. nothing else.

TBH, I haven't clicked any ad's on their site for a while now.

They lock your account after 30 days of inactivity, but then you can unlock it via a support ticket to them.

To answer your question, most of my money was directed to my rental balance on Neobux, so I could rent referrals. Due to my inactivity, all my money got chewed up.

I hear if you get a job you actually make a good amount of money per month. I'm not so sure about this new rumor though.

Obviously this thread (and the blog too) is for people who don't have jobs/don't want jobs/are lazy/etc.

I am currently getting a job, this is meant for people who might be low on cash.

Don't forget about Club Bing, you don't get money, but you can win some good prizes. Most of them are pretty silly and useless, but there are some good ones (Xbox/PC games/controllers, electronics, etc.)

IIRC, they only ship to the US. I think I have some points there actually, but not enough to buy anything cool.

34 day bump oh god

Found something else that could be worth while:

SwagBucks! (http://www.swagbucks.com)

Basically Swagbucks is a search engine that, sometimes while you search, you get a currency they have called "SwagBucks". These 'bucks can be traded in at their "Swag Store" for several real world items, like a Blue-Ray DVD Player, video game stuff, and many other things as well!

They just recently had their second birthday, and they updated the site to 3.0. What this means is that their old system of SwagBucks is replaced via the new version.

1 Swagbuck becomes 10 Swagbucks
5 Swagbucks becomes 50 Swagbucks
and 10 SwagBucks become 100 Swagbucks

So if you wanted to sign up, here is the website again:

http://swagbucks.com/?cmd=sb-register

And if you want to sign under me, here you go:

Just wondering if any of you guys ever ended up getting anything from that GomezPeerZone thing. They accepted me rather quick and apparently I've already earned a whopping $0.16... I'm just wondering if any of you guys have actually seen any money from this or not.

E: I'm not accepted, they just started giving me a total theoretical money earned type thing.
