Pyong has the specs. Far Cry 2 was by no means a very demanding game.

I agree. I think that Crysis looks more realistic in quality, but Bad Company 2's graphics just flow so well. Also, if you watch the video, you'll see parts where it says "Press X" to reload in the sapphire orb for the XBOX 360 controller.

Apparently DICE is making audio solely dependent on your CPU, meaning less juice to the moose, but you get more pow to cow. The sound is fucking amazingly powerful. Reminds me of the first time I played Crysis and felt like I was wielding a weapon that could actually kill somebody. The thickness and power of the rounds going off is awesome.

What drew me into the first one was the fact the weapons sounded real, not shitty little pop guns in Modern Warfare. The gameplay also seems to flow very well.

Bad Company 2 doesn't look like it will bring anything new, but I'm fine with that, it looks like it could be a very good play.

Let me tell you, the graphics are amazing full screen, I'm willing to say better than Crysis. I played the 360 version and omg the colour palette is spot on.

I played on a sandy level and started with a squad of friendly players and we headed on foot, from the video footage it also shows like jungle/forest and ice/snow conditions.

When I play Crysis, the graphics are great, but I know I'm playing a game. BC 2 though, it felt like it captured real life (although obviously I've never been in war situations).

The sounds, the animations, the effects the lighting is unbelievably stunning.

I didnt play much, so I couldnt tell if the story line was actually decent, I just hope they dont bugger it up with a crappy story.

no they don't, only the fuel rod arcs. the mechanic is there but literally nothing else uses it w/o modding

I waited hours for my turn to download on Filefront, but it was worth it. In 10 mins it downloaded at 1mbps and it'll be done in 1 minutes. I was using a torrent before which made it to 80% over a course of 3 hours, but FileFront pwned that.

I hope it doesn't. I don't think my system will be able to handle DX11 when it struggles with DX10. Dirt 2 DX11 works great though. I don't remember the last time I saw 1x AA in a game instead of the "off" option.

Heh it finished downloading for me 2 hours ago and played it until now. It's decent and a better change the mw2. It was really funny when I tried to pilot the Apache, people thought I was a retard on crack. It's fun to drive helicopters, tanks, and ATV things. The weapons are ok. Not to fond of how they modeled some of there guns but the destructible environments was badass. So was when you spawn you parachute down if your on the team to blow up the stations. To me the aiming system and how you move you will have to adjust to.

To me it's really cool right now, everybody is a noob which makes it enjoyable since they dont know how to overuse the vehicles atm.

Figured this could use a good bump since bad company 2 got released recently.
My maon gripe i have is they removed the spawn protection system they had where the attackers could not enter the defenders spawn point and visa versa.
Campaign seems interesting enough though.

Got it the day before it came out in the UK thanks to preorder, completed it on hard in 2 days,been online for 5 days almost none stop got almost all the achievements.

Pretty fun game, only problem not with the game itsself, is when your stuck on a team that just wants to all be snipers when you need to make a push for a point on rush ¬_¬.

Got it. It's pretty good. I almost hate to say it since there are already millions of WWII games, but DICE should do a WWII-specific version of Bad Company since they did the opening level pretty damn well (except for the incessant, unskippable cutscenes). I'm not done with it, but I can say that I think Bad Company 2 is the better game when you compare it with Modern Warfare 2. The pacing is good, the weapons are amazing (who doesn't like bumrushing with a slug-loaded USAS-12 and MG-3 (MG-42)?), and the graphics make MW2 look two generations old. Hell, if you don't look too close and are playing on a non-HD TV, you might even think it was running CryEngine 2.

I give it an 8.5 out of 10.

Really fun, I love the huge environments. The only thing I feel it lacks on the PC is a bigger player count. Sure, it can go up to 32, but rarely are you in a game that has that limit full for more than about 5 minutes. When it is full though, it's probably the greatest shit I've ever played online.

I feel PC Players will differ with that. I've noticed the campaign is a lot more like a movie, with the way they narrate the cinematic. I thought it was interesting and still fun none the less. Multilayer is such a blast, and even better when you have a full squad. Haven't touched cod since this game came out lol. Best thing ever, leveling a building of 6 enemies watching a flag using just c4.

I've played the game some time now and I still don't know how the VoIP works! I asked about it and they said "hold ALT". It doesn't work for me. It's also funny how in settings you can set up push to talk but they don't tell you which button. You can't play Battlefield well without communication with your team.

It's not just battlefield im having this issue with, my CPU has been peaking at 90% in IDLE a few times, which is completely stupid as, there is no malware on my pc as i scan it everyday, the hard drives are defragged once a week and generaly everything is inshape.

They're on the BC2 EA site. You have to sign in there to get your screenshots. It's also got stats and other neat things to look at. Same thing with the first game too.
