Just finished this on PS2... that was really awesome. The gameplay was mediocre and repetitive, but what really made it worth it was the storyline. It was elaborate and well done... something that so many games today lack. The acting was perfect as well. Well done Konami, you actually made another Silent Hill on par with Silent Hill 2. :golfclap:

I recommend this to anyone looking for a great storyline. Pretty sure that as well as being out on the PS2, its out on the Wii and PSP.

Wait, you played it on PS2? I didn't know it was made for that.

Also, is this the one I heard about (at least for Wii) where all you control is a flashlight and no weapons? I heard it was lacking in that regard. Evading monsters does not create horror--having to face those monsters head-on is what makes Silent Hill so great.

I liked how this game profiles the type of person you are.

Yeah, its out on PS2 as well.

Lacking in that regard? What? The combat in Silent Hill has sucked for awhile. Plus, running away and hiding from monsters that are marginally faster than you is more intense than fighting things and being able to defend against them. The focus of the Silent Hill series has always been on atmosphere, story, and characters... uhh well from 2 onwards at least.
