If you sign up at audible ( http://www.audible.com/deviceoffer/ ) you get a coupon for $100 off any media player. If its less than $100 its free. It costs $15 to sign up, so in total I spent $105 for the zune, including the audible service, and then $10 for a case and screen protector. You also get free audio books for a year. It should work with anything (itouches, ipods, whatever). I also signed up for the free trial of amazon prime and got it delivered on 2day shipping for free. Got it last night.
Here's the amazon promotional details - http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/ref=amb_link_2001212_2?ie=UTF8&docId=598985&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-1&pf_rd_r=10QPAY782D70Y1T761CQ&pf_rd_t=1401&pf_rd_p=467623951&pf_rd_i=598985#HowtoGetYour100PromotionalCode

One question...to skip to the next song you have to use the touchscreen right? If yes, I stay with my 30GB first generation even though it has no screen. I don't want to use the touchscreen and get it out every time just to skip a song.

all you have to do is drag your finger across the screen, you don't have to take it out or look at it.

This requires you to sign up using a credit card, not something I'm interested in, thanks though.

It says you have to sign up for at least 1 year. So it's not just $15, it's actually $180 to get $100 off. Not a good deal at all.

No, its just $15. Sign up and then cancel the service.
E: I just called to cancel and they were giving me a hastle about since I said I did it through the amazon promotion. They asked me if I had returned the device, so I told them I hadn't bought one yet, so they said they'd have someone else send me an e-mail about it. I did this all on a gift credit card, so I'm not worried about it, but everyone else should do this at your own risk.

I'm loving my Zune HD. Great little device. But I guess I've always loved Zune's. I have my Zune 30 sitting in my stereo. lol.

I put Star Trek in HD on it. I don't know how long it took to convert it, I let it do it over night, but it looks great on that screen. Audiosurf is so much more fun with the zune than a mouse
too bad there's hardly any apps for it though. The only non-ms one I could find that works was the drawing one.
