With the help of the MM A-Team we are now hosting a new Halo Repository that is focused specifically on Halo 2 Vista but also contains apps and textures for the other Halos.

Besides applications for editing maps, the Repository also contains:

-Tutorials

-Example files

-Models

-Relevant links

-Mods

-Bitmaps and textures from HaloCE to Halo 2 to Halo 3

-Released Custom Maps and eventually many weapon tags

I will be adding much more in the coming weeks. Many of the applications come in a compressed form (.RAR or .ZIP) and a decompressed form, so that you can study the plug-ins and settings that I used if and when you are not sure how to proceed with an app.

We're currently adding a web interface front-end to make browsing the Repository easier:

Repository was the first map that we took to a completed, beautified state. To sell the idea of large-scale combat in the Halo setting, we needed a map that boldly said "Halo" with features familiar to players (and more importantly, the makers) of the original Halo settings. The point of this map was not to tell a story, but to send the message: "Ensemble Studios can do Halo."

Wait, how did Ensemble Studios get mixed into a H2V topic :s?

I mean, they did an awesome job on Halo Wars...but this is H2V :s

repository seems to be down.
e: its just the original link.
What happened to all the old halo 3 weapon tags?
I wanted to edit them to make them more accurate to halo 3.

Even talking about Ensemble makes me a sad panda.
