Taking credit for something again Dee? That's no surprise. I don't see any mention of Firescythe in your post, and don't worry I checked for ninja tags because that is how you like to credit people after all.

Those shadows look reeeeally nice. I assume this shows that if the uvs are made to scale better, then the overall lightmap quality is much better. Now that you've shown the pics, explain the process, please. From the other thread I gathered that Firescythe had found a way to change the uvs, but from that to this is somewhat of a process gap. : ) Is that tool available for the rest of us yet? Or is this a trial run?
Edit: And yeah, ShadowSpartan does have a point. I just assumed Firescythe had a lot to do with it.

Oh wow. I saw the post the other day, but somehow managed to miss its importance.

Trollin'
I got someone else to make the custom lightmap tool. It supports more than 1 BSP and even the creation of new UV channels from specified faces.
Hell I didn't even know fire-scythe released it until now.

Oh, so you decide to not give that person any credit either? That's even worse, but it is expected from you. So who was it?

He didn't give any credit becuase that specific person told him not too. Most likely becuase you would of just kept on trolling and going on rants like usual.

Why don't you let Dee speak for himself, unless you are infact the person he is talking about. Dee posts thing without giving proper credit (http://forum.halomaps.org/index.cfm?page=topic&topicID=30576&start=561) (read that whole page), and it is extremely annoying and dishonest.

You would think you would learned your lesson by now. Halo 3 Beta models, Halo 3 BSPs in the above thread, and now the Lightmap program are some things you have attempted to take credit for to make yourself look better. If you did not do the work, at least say that someone else did it rather than letting people assume that you did the work yourself so that you look better.

This is unbelievable, cant believe your pawning off other work and not giving full credit.
So, who was it that made the custom lightmap tool then Dee?

Same here.
I never even specified anything so how can you guys instantly infer that it was made using X or that the tool was made by X.
Apparently not specifying anything shows that I did everything including the tool by myself?
Firescythe made a tool, I realize that. If I had used his tool I would have credited him since it is publicly known he is the only one to make a tool like that. But I did not use his tool. And the person that did make it did not want to be mentioned.

Either way, you do seem to have issues with credit. I don't blame them for not trusting you.
I'm not sure what you're trying to show off though. The map itself isn't that impressive right now and now that Firescythe released a tool for it, this isn't anything big. Got someone else doing it? Not sure what the big deal is, but okay.
I will ask everyone to lay off though, and let Dee do whatever the fuck it is he's trying to impress us by doing here.

The fact is, your did not credit anyone. Therefore whoever, credit was not shown. You have stated it definitely was not FireScythe, from your response of how you didnt even know he released it.
Whats stopping you giving credit, whats stopping you letting us know who made the app? My thoughts right now is its FireScythe's and you just havent the balls to admit it.
Does look nice though.

I doubt E3po made it, hes too busy trying to making bipeds walk on slopes and remove warnings from Tool :D:D
If Dee scans the executable and finds a keylogger, then it was E3po.

The model was made in 3ds max, a modeling, animation and rendering package developed by Autodesk Media and Entertainment.. The development texture was made using adobe photohop, a graphics editing program developed and published by Adobe Systems.. The game is halo Custom edition, a free expansion that requires a key code of Halo: Combat Evolved by Bungie Studios, which was ported to the PC by Gearbox Software. Information about these applications are from wikipedia.
Just in case you guys accuse me of stealing credit again.

You clearly missed the vital information, the only one we care about. Who made the app. Yes okay you don't have to tell us, it would be nice to know. But you clearly made this thread to show off something, that pretty much someone else did all the head work for.

Sorry Lag, but I have to say something.
You know for a fact that kind of crediting is unnecessary. However, you do need to say who developed the modding tool you used for Custom Lightmap UV's, which are not possible to do with the stock HEK tools, instead of trying to make people believe you did it all yourself. You created a thread and just said "Custom Lightmap UVs you say?", without even mentioning someone created an application for you to use. Why the person did not want to be mentioned is beyond me (makes me believe there is no person at all), but you did not have to use names, just acknowledge the fact that someone else did the hard work for you and that you did not do it yourself.
You need to stop trying to make people believe you did all of the hard work, when you really did nothing but use a tool that someone else created. I hope you realize that doing that makes you look bad in everyone's eyes, and leads people to not trusting you.

So then everyone that makes a movie or picture using a tool has to state clearly "I DO NOT TAKE FULL CREDIT! I USED PHOTOSHOP/MAX/etc TO MAKE IT!"

In his original post, did he? No he did not, and that is all that matters. I am not whining, I just want to get the facts straight so everyone can clearly see what Dee's intentions are.

That is a different situation and you know it. Stop trying to deflect like you did in both of the Halomaps threads. Is it really that hard for you to say something along the lines of 'I used an application someone created for me' in your original post instead of saying nothing at all?
