If you haven't read the comics, do so now. Tons of nerdy humor, pretty ridiculous. Awesome quick read. Go go go!

The concept looks hilarious (comic book stuff) but the execution looks unfunny and retarded.

Well this was a terrible idea. Terrible casting, and terrible story. Not that the story doesn't work in the comic series, but here they are attempting to put THE ENTIRE MAIN PLOT into a 1.5-2 hour movie. It's like if the next Batman movie had Batman fight The Penguin, The Riddler, The Joker, Scarecrow, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, and god-damn Mr. Freeze!

As much as I love Edgar Wright's films, this looks stupid as hell and I refuse to watch anything with Michael Cera in it.

As much as I love Edgar Wright's films, Michael Cera is in it, so this is likely stupid as hell and I refuse to watch it.You had the law a bit backwards, ftfy. And no, that's not sarcasm, I'm agreeing with this post. Fuck Michael Cera.
More reasons why this will blow:
- It's based on a comic, meaning this will be shit anyway.
- It apparently involves "nerdy humor," which Hollywood will fuck up in the same way high schools censor papers on censorship.
The girl is pretty hot though, if you subtract the neon wigs.

Bad, horrible casting. Can't think of a worse person than Michael Cera for the part, and I haven't even read the comics.

might be amusing if on a copious amount of drugs, but other than that it looks like another "awkward cera" flick.

Both movies in which he was awkward. This character is not supposed to be awkward, from what I've read.

That's because Michael Cera is a one-trick pony. Every single film he's in (that I know of), he plays the same goddamn role. Superbad was decent but that's literally the only movie I've liked with him in it.
