Yeah I'd be very surprised if they didn't show DooM 4 at Quakecon this year. They'll probably have a playable RAGE demo too

Carmack did just demo the Rage engine (id Tech 5) running on an IPHONE. Goddamn, he's amazing. Hopefully there will be some video of it up soon.

I played a bit of New Vegas and Brink. New Vegas looks and plays just as good as Fallout 3, but the reloading animations still give the impression that I'm playing with bb guns. Brink looks awesom, love the customization, but the control is a little heavy, but that's probably because they had us use 360 controllers connected to a computer.
