Run scan disk on the USB, try to fix the errors on it, last time it worked did you safely remove it?

I think I removed it safely, if I didn't then I would of waited for the light to stop flashing which means it isnt being accessed. And scan disk says that it is in use although there are no programs open which will need to access it :S
