Edit: Actually, it depends if everybody has the beta patch or not. If not, than, well, fuck. I can't downgrade the game without reinstalling, and I'm not about to redownload the installer over a 512k connection.

I never could get hamachi to work properly. People could connect to my network but the game never showed up for them in LAN. I followed all the instructions in the Hamachi wiki. Somebody care to give me "guaranteed to work" instructions?

No such thing. Half the fun of FA is working through connection issues. No matter what though, i've never seen a LAN game show up in the server list. I've always had to join through IP.

I don't, but GPGNet is horribly laggy and constantly drops people. Playing "LAN" games over Hamachi seems to be smoother, I always do this when playing SupCom online, and I have for some time!

I'd like to see somebody actually achieve this. The game hardly works when the copy is legit, so I seriously doubt that a pirated copy would work...
