View Full Version : hack Batman Arkham Asylum (PC) to 100%?

Hi,

Firstly I am not trying to get a cheap way to beat the game instantly, I have beaten it on hard mode once and found all the riddles/trophies/etc.

However my save file got corrupted and 30 minutes of google searching did not turn up anything - I was trying to see if anyone uploaded a 100% save file online. I could not find any such thing, which is weird since pretty much all my other PC games allow me to just download other people's save files and put them into my save folder. I tried looking for cheat codes but apparently there aren't any! I miss the days when one could just enter a cheat code and unlock every level.

Thus I am wondering if anyone knows how to edit/hack the game files such that I can easily warp myself back to 100% instead of having to go through everything again. I remember there was a similar hack for Call of Duty 4 that lets one warp to Level 55 without doing any work, of course I would only used it if my profile got corrupted or I had to reformat or something.

I really like playing the Challenge mode and it'll take me many hours to unlock everything again since my save was corrupted. While I don't mind replaying the campaign I don't have the heart to keep searching for the trophies and so on all over again - even if I were to use a walkthrough it would be very time consuming! I would appreciate any help from technical experts here who know how to do these hacks.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah I doubt just about anyone here cares... it's a single player game. Maybe someone will be all boo-hoo over gamerscore... but I doubt it... if you did infact already beat it. I spawn tanks all the time in games like Grand Theft Auto... sometimes it's just fun to cheat.

As for save games... not even sure if B:AA has save games... tried backing them up once and I didn't see anywhere they'd be. Who knows.

I looked for save files/hacks when attempting to go back to my favorite part of the game to no avail. Judging from my Googling back then, I doubt there exists such saves (GFWL might be a problem).

If it makes you feel better, the game has SecuROM anyway.

Damn that sucks. No Phopojijo, I am not concerned about my gamerscore, I just wanted a way of quickly unlocking all the challenge levels without having to find the Riddler trophies again, haha. Btw I also cheat a lot in GTA (only after honestly beating all the story missions of course) - it is really fun to watch tanks rain down from the sky and to just drive around causing a ruckus with god mode on etc. I always get pissed when people say "only noobs use cheat codes to quickly beat the game with no skill," no that is not true, cheat codes are meant for honest players to simply mess around when they want some variety. Playing HL2 on god mode using nothing but the crowbar ftw :P (except those forced sequences where I have to use other weapons).

I guess I'll wait till summer and start the game from scratch again...

Btw, I have the steam version, would that also have the securom in it?

Yes it would.

Does the game demand you are online? It might use Cloud Saving, which would follow with the whole, no save files on pc.

Save files are apparently in Documents\Eidos\Batman Arkham Asylum\SaveData\(here's a folder that is a long string of numbers based on your GFWL account)\(here are your save files)

No idea where you'd find a 100% completion save, but it ought to work if you stick it in that folder.
