I'm getting a steering wheel so I want to know of some games that are good for steering wheels.
This is games for PS2, PS3, or PC.
Anyone know of any really good racing games for the racing wheel?
Thanks!

I need to get a ps2 to pc adaptor first (or the wheel needs to have a miniusb port like the ps3 controller, which it probably will)
Thanks though!
Keep em coming :)

GRID or DiRT2 for PC. We play these at LAN parties all the time and they're a big hit since everyone turns it into "hit to pass".

Test Drive Unlimited
Burnout Paradise
Dirt
Grid
Any NFS game
TBH I think pretty much every single racing game is best played with a wheel, with a dual analog gamepad in 2nd place (keyboard = ugh). I haven't been able to tell if any particular games work better than others with racing wheels, just adjust your sensitivity properly and you're fine.
the BMW M3 challenge (free game) is also fun enough to be worth a shot - good graphics and surprisingly quite realistic (minus damage). It's best if you get a set that has a gear shifter if you play this game.
which wheel are you getting? I am using the x360 steering wheel (it doesn't work with some of my older PC games though), it is pretty good but I wish I had one of the Logitech models instead.

I am using the Intec G7796, it rocks, includes shifter, pedals, etc

I never really enjoyed any racing games, except for GRID. Your car weighs more than a brick and the other cars don't weigh more than a ton of bricks.

Wipeout HD is a good one for PS3.

The last race in GRID is total BS, you know the one on Le Mans track vs Ravenwest.

NFS Underground 1 and 2 are my favorites, then again I don't like racing sims.

Definitely will be worth it to wait for GT5, but for now, I definitely recommend Test Drive Unlimited, Live For Speed and 18 Wheels of Stee... oh fuck did I just say that last? Never mind.
Does your wheel have a clutch pedal? Now that I drive stick, I can't stand racing in a game with a manual without a clutch pedal and H-shift. Gonna have to save up for a G27, maybe.

I don't really have a clutch but i could simply bind it to a button on the left side, or one of the buttons behind the wheel.

Also, if you can ever find it, just for the lulz:

I've always wanted to buy this game to actually experience how bad it is, but it's never on store shelves.

Is that the game that yells "You're winner!" when you inevitably win because even though another truck spawns for competition there is no physical AI?
Man... I seriously would love a decent trucking game, but the bulk of them are just so BAD...
