So I took close to 3000 photos today. Only 1500 of the fuckers decided they wanted to show up. the space is still being taken up on my sd card. Recuva and windows recovery find nothing. I really want these, please help
There's an amazing shot of an F-18 with the vapor cone of coming close to the sound barrier in there

Have you tried searching for them (their extension)? This randomly happened to my brother where only around 10% of his photos were showing up on his card.

In the windows search? Same amount of photos showed up. I was shooting in Large jpgs

Does the camera come with software to get the photos from the device? If so, use that.

I've tried my laptops sd slot, an sd card reader, the eos utilities photo downloader, and the windows photo downloader to no success

Try putting it in a AGP slot, it's probably compatible.

Have you tried moving the files off of the SD card? Maybe there's a limit to how many it can show at once? Can you see all pictures in the camera's file browser?

Maybe there's a limit to how many it can show at once?

How could there be a limit to how many will show up? The window should scroll down indefinitely, well until the end of the files. Shouldn't it?

if none of this works i would try some sort of free photo recovery software.

attach camera to computer via usb (most cameras can). I mean, if it can't, sorry.

When I first slid in the card and opened up bridge, the first 10 or so photos were corrupted, along with nearly half of the 1022 that did show up on the card in random groups. I took the card back and put it in and ran the windows scan and fix thing, that recovered all of the ones that were corrupted. When I tried putting it back in the camera the images didn't even show up in the file browser. Recuva didn't find anything and I haven't been able to find a dedicated picture recovery program that actually looked legit and trustworthy. fuck dis is turrible

Try this (http://download.cnet.com/TestDisk-PhotoRec/3000-2248_4-10511775.html) if you have not.

Thanks a lot, it just got to the parts that were gone:iamafag:

I took over 500 shots of this jet alone, I'm sure I can piece the nose together, it's hard to follow something going 600 mph

I heard a smaller plane crashed there right? I saw a headline about it, but I was confused because we have a Sun n' Fun here in Sarasota too. Didn't know they have one in Land O' Lakes too. I think I would have noticed if a plane crashed next to my house :P.

That's a cool pic though so I'm glad you were able to recover the rest.

I was only there for the actual air show on saturday, maybe one of the smaller cessnas that were everywhere crashed, but not one of the show planes.
also related, I want to assemble these into a time lapse like what philly did, anyone know how?

^ So is CorndogMan and OdSeraphim (Sarasota and New Tampa) so it might be longer, but ya'll are close.

I'm in Tallahassee right now, visiting Flibit and I was planning on stopping by Gainsville on my way back down to Orlando to see Omega Dragon but he's a failure and doesn't return messages... so yar.
