Anyone have some decent mashups with mostly video game music in them? Preferably more modern stuff, but some older and retro music is always good.

Move this to Tech Talk if you think it fits better there.

The orchestra things has the right idea, but I want it more electronica style. Different game music being mixed together etc, etc... Hence "mashups".

I've had the entire OCRemix stuff for years now, they aren't mashups they're remixes.

This one's classified as a mashup, and it's electronica as a bonus:

well, maybe it's a medley.

"A mashup or blend (also mash up and mash-up) is a song or composition created by blending two or more songs, usually by overlaying the vocal track of one song seamlessly over the music track of another."

For example, looking for stuff that "blends" (for example) Modern Warfare music with Halo 2 music. However the "blending" should only be in transition from one song to the next and they shouldn't be overlapping to the point where it sounds bad.

I saw these guys when they came to Victoria. It was a great show, A+ would go again.

I know, one of the best nights in my life really. Just hellish fun, also walking around St.Paul was nice (that's where I saw it)/

so if i have this right, what you want is two different songs that are just spliced together to sound good? or a reworking of two different songs so each play at the same time and sound good?

a few things come to mind, but im not entirely sure what exactly youre looking for.

Yea that's what I'm looking for Donut, however the more songs spliced together to sound good the better.

You're going to have a hard time finding that.
