View Full Version : How to put more than five different vehicles?

i used another laptop to modify maps.. when i changed to a new computer... this have ocurred i dont know whats happening..
sapien closes down i dont know if there is an update of sapien, i saw hobov 102, i dont know if there is another update... for it..

Re extract Bloodgulch with HEK+. Your missing a file.

Ok, well your obviously doing it wrong then, it tells you the exact file you need, which is bloodgulch.bitmap. So extract that sole file, and it should work. There is no reason to doubt it wouldnt. Bungie, Gearbox, and M$ have never made an update for HEK.

Means it can't find the file. I don't know why its in Spanish for you, unless your Spanish.

What would that accomplish? The error is pretty clearly about being unable to read a specific bitmap.

Try replacing your current bloodgulch.bitmap with this one. It just seems like you have a corrupted bitmap, that's all (when tool says it "reached the end of the file" that's what that means).

Means it can't find the file. I don't know why its in Spanish for you, unless your Spanish.
If you are going to help people, then you should at least know what you are talking about. As Lag said, "couldn't read #108 bytes from offset #64 in local tag" means that the tag is corrupted. The bitmap tag does exist and sapien can find it just fine, but when sapien tries to open the file and parse the tag data, it runs into an error and has to close.

I think the reason it didn't work when you tried to re-extract using HEK+ is the fact that the tag already exists, and you had not selected the "overwrite" option for extraction (not recommended to do that anyway).

When i try to open a tag with This software of kornman this error couldnt find library(C:\Program files\Microsoft office\office12\Grooveutil.dll)
ensure that is installed
i have done what this post says but nothing

I had the same problem literally 2 weeks ago. As soon as I Selected windows XP it decided it wanted to work. Opened the Bloodgulch file no problem.

I would like to know how to put some custom weapons when a game is starting, if i want to put a sword i want that this persona start with the sword and dont with the pistol.
i dont remember well but i used before this softwares to custom maps, i dont know if this can be configured in guerrilla
ill be gratefull if you can help me to remember

Start>Control Panel> Add or Remove programs
Run the uninstaller for Microsoft Office and it should give you the option to uninstall its features.

I don't think you can a give certain weapon to a certain player when you spawn unless it's a SP map.
You can randomize it though.

And I don't even know what the hell you said in that last part so can't help you there.

...ok.. it is that i knew it, but i forgot it, i know this is impossible to give each weapon to each player i just want to change ( like saying a mod as when people just put snipers and start with snipers), i just want to start with a sword and another weapon, all player

In sapien, put:


(script startup vehicles
(object_create_anew <vehicle name>)
)
You do that for every vehicle type you want to spawn.

And for this code if you didn't already know, the vehicle name is not like mp_warthog, it's the name you have to assign to the vehicle in the vehicle's properties which is in the properties window in sapien when a vehicle is selected in the "name" field.


Place the script in:
Halo Custom Edition>Data>Levels>(level name)>scripts

exe. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\data\levels\halo3map\scripts\vehicle.hsc

yeah there is a tut on Hmaps that tells you how to, found it and did that...now i dont have to rely on command codes to spawn shit :D
