Well, hello there! This is my first map made in UDK. I primarily made it from dicking around in the editor since I have no idea what to google search for. Anyways, this is what it looks like (I dunno how to make it so you guys can play it, or I would upload a copy):

I still have a lot to learn, and I've never been a very creative level designer.... this is all I could think up. :ugh: (That and the UDK is stripped of pretty much all of it's UT3/GoW content so I didn't have much [imo] to work with) This is also my third attempt, after getting frustrated with brushes. That and I've only put about 6-10 hours in into it. Rate/Comment/Crit/Flame/IDGAFF :woop: (Oh, and Kismet is the SHIT)

Looks great for a first attempt. You should do maps in unreal 3 though. It gives you tons of static meshes and stock shaders to use for mapping.

haven't played the game since i bought it; i'd say you're better off with udk, especially given that it's an upgraded engine.

Its strange as I cant actually see the video just a white block where its supposed to be :/, as for your Kismet , dont squish everything together like that space it out abit more as the Kismet window is huge so theres no reason to squish stuff up , it looks awful and can some times be confusing depending on what your doing.

The reason my Kismet is so clattered is I took what I knew about the trigger and the matinee event and tried to make it two staged. That is what I got.
