I have to ask why you don't learn on an engine that isn't already a decade old. i mean, UE3 and CE2 are already 3 years old. Also, nobody is going to want to help someone that is just an ideas guy. Nobody knows who you are or what you can do, so don't expect any mapper to just jump to the chance to help you.

and seeing hwo you're new i doubt anybody with experience is willing to help seeing you've given no guidlines as to what needs to be mapped

I'd agree, why not just take the time to learn the engine. Once you follow some tutorials and kinda start to get the hang of it people are more willing to help you. Nobody wants to help someone who can't even help himself.

(There are a ton of tutorials on creating a map and using 3ds Max on the internet. Just google around.)
