Haven't played halo CE in a while and after trying to start it up, I get nothing.
I get a the familiar halo startup image and then it stretches its self to fit the resolution I have it set at. I hear the halo ui.map sounds but I still have the halo startup image. On fullscreen it is the same thing but the image flickers. In sapien I have get a black screen in the game window and only hear sounds as well.
Debug.txt shows this:
06.10.10 20:08:51 sapien pc 01.00.00.0609 ----------------------------------------------
06.10.10 20:08:51 reference function: _write_to_error_file

06.10.10 20:08:51 Couldn't read map file './sapienbeta.map'
06.10.10 20:08:51 *found 2 adapters...
06.10.10 20:08:51 CreateDevice succeeded with refresh rate = 0
06.10.10 20:08:52 Sound card doesn't meet minimum hardware requirements. Disabling hardware option.
06.10.10 20:08:52 Increasing sound decompression buffer size to 1048576 bytes
06.10.10 20:09:10 local player 0, weapon (0x0), deleted unexpectedly
Reinstalling halo did not work. My halo PC installment works perfectly fine though.
