My ancient comp is again, going completely-fucking-bzonkers again as it has several times in the past.
AMD Athlon XP 2600+
NForce 2 A7n8x Deluxe
1gb 184-pin DDR1 ram
ATI Radeon x1650 512mb
BFGTech GS 550w
My comp was working just fine for the past few months and then went completely apeshit on me for the past two weeks. I first noticed errors starting to crop up while editing UDK particle effects, causing the editor to crash when loading textures/anything into the Content Browser. I decided to do a clean install, since I needed to, anyways, and the problem persisted. Soon after, Flash began to crash, starting once in a while, then it becoming so common it wasnt a question of IF it was crashing but WHEN it was crashing. Again, I clean installed and the same symptoms occured, but THIS time, Kernel Power (Error ID 41, task 63) crashes/bsods/freezes became shittingly common. I became pissed, so I attempted to rule out SATA HDD by installing Win7 onto a new partition of my IDE HDD, which the problems still persisted. Afterwards, I ran memtest on both 512 sticks, seperately, one at a time, in single and dual channel mode. The memory passed the tests, so far I have ruled out memory. Afterwards, I reset CMOS on my motherboard to see if that would change anything. Nope. Nothing. Crashes persist. The only two things left are CPU, VGA, and PSU.
PLEASE.
HELP.
I CAN'T TEST ANY PARTS OR REPLACE ANY OF THEM (no moneeyzz) SO PLEASE SOMEONE HELP
