I don't think there's DRM on the steam version (I don't have it, I just heard it)

It's one of the best games ever made and you're worried about DRM?

yes, incidentally.

I refuse to support the games with the little cash i have if it's got all that bullshit attached. install limitations, securom continuous internet connection... i wont support them full stop.

far as I know absolutely none. non-steam version just has a disk check.

righto thanks. been searching around and havnt found anything to suggest otherwise, i just know i've been nearly caught buying something off steam before.

Bullshit regional pricing.... but i suppose it'll be worth the 42 i have to pay for it.

I have it on Steam, and iirc, it's the same as most other steam games.

Is Australia getting the 40% off sale as well?

I'm waiting on the Dragon Age sale to start later today.

ME2 is worth $100 though.

Might be one of my most played Singleplayer games ever.

I think the DRM for games is removed when it is released on Steam. Steam itself is DRM.

My Steam version of Crysis still have SecuROM.

Hmm, well BFBC2 DRM is not present :D Also, the only game that has DRM that has given me all sorts of hell is Battlefield 2142. I would say BF2, but it has the official no-cd patch now, just like Halo.

Guess I'm a nerd then :realsmug:

Granted, her character was easily the most developed and likable in the game (and Kasumi wasn't availiable :saddowns:).

I only did the romance subplots in Mass Effect 1 for achievement's sake, truth be told I couldn't stand either Ashley or Liara in the game. Ashley was so one dimensional, and Liara never shut her damn mouth.

Why wouldn't you romance Tali? She's so adorable.

Because you could romance Garrus, since he's a badass good guy. Even if Garrus weren't as awesome as he is, who would want to woo a Cerberus gun-for-hire lapdog or an obsessed-over-the-past, overly spiritual yet morally backwards assassin? If only having a deeper relationship with Kelly unlocked the achievement...

This x1000
It boggles the mind how many people want to jump into a singleplayer, story-driven RPG in the second installment rather than playing everything in order. I just...there is nothing anyone can say to make me understand that.
