GeForce GTX 480M. Eh, just seen this looks awesome. But. Does it support HybridPower™ Technology? As I currently have the GeForce GT 335M and I don't want to have a powerful GPU like the 480M turned on all of the time... will drain my battery.

I think there is something called Powermizer, that's already bundled when you install Nvidia drivers, that checks if you're playing a game, using an application that uses the GPU, of if you're on a desktop that would adjust your gpu clocks accordingly to save battery.

What laptop do you have? Because I doubt your existing cooling will be sufficient enough to run a 480M. I looked into this with my Alienware M15x which quite possibly has one of the best 15" laptop cooling designs, the most powerful card I could get in here is a GTX 285M, anything more powerful will overheat left, right, and center.

I have the M11x, which I am guessing has no room for watercooling or anything?

You can't upgrade the GPU in an M11x (http://forum.notebookreview.com/alienware-m11x/485314-m11x-graphics-options-mxm-3-0b.html), you'll need to wait for a refresh of the entire system.
