So, you decided to take a chance and casually take a look into this thread. Good for you, faggot. Let's get some questions out of the way.

Q. But, Gurdy, what exactly is Forgotten Hope 2?

A. Forgotten Hope 2 is an award-winning Battlefield 2 mod which, in the mod's current stage in production, takes place in North Africa, the Mediterranean, and in fortress Europe. Basically it's battlefield two in World War two, is that hard to understand?

Q. I can't bring myself to stop playing Team Fortress 2 to swap for another shitty, time-consuming shooter. What makes Forgotten Hope 2 different?

A. Nothing really, but it's fun as shit when you have a squad on top of their game. With the cooperation between armor, air power, and infantry, you're sure to lay the hurt on the enemy. This mod basically feels like a more refined, user-friendly Red Orchestra. And there's not a multiplayer-learning curve the size of Everest. That being said, while being set firmly in realistic gameplay, it's also not quite a milsim. Just think of call of duty only more historically accurate, add vehicles, and on a much larger scale.

Okay, there were more questions but I'm too lazy to type them out so whatever.

Now to content!

I probably didn't persuade anyone to even take a look at this mod, but you know what, I tried.

If I did somehow manage to peak your interest, here's the download (http://forgottenhope.warumdarum.de/main.php?module=downloads).

See you on the battlefield!

Actually, I've wanted something precisely like that for quite some time. I never really understood why the kind of fast paced, arcadey gameplay that I love must also invariably come with an absolute lack of historical (or even contemporary) accuracy.

So, with that said, I'd definitely take a look at this if I actually had Battlefield 2. :smith:

Hi it crashes every time I try to play online and also at random when I'm bumming around on the maps offline and I would actually play it if it worked but it doesn't okay bye

Hey look another trys-to-be-realistic shooter game. That's an original concept.
