Halo 2 Master Chief Statue (Life Size) [ENDED]:

I was debating on whether or not to put this in Tech Talk but then decided OT should still be fine. It's a statue of a character who also happens to star in three pretty cool games. It exists in real life and you can touch it.

Ebay auction. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320559142476)
HBO Thread. (http://carnage.bungie.org/haloforum/halo.forum.pl?read=994360)

This is an auction for a life sized Halo 2 statue of John 117, or as he's known by his Navy rank, Master Chief. I won this item in an ebay action back in 2007 for a tour of Bungie's studios. During its shipment from MS to the charity (Hollywood Arts (http://www.hollywood-arts.org/)) who would then later send it to me, it received some damage in the statue's left knee joint (see bottom two pictures) however, I don't think it would be too trivial to patch this breakage up.

Spartans are big and so it goes that life sized statues of them are too. I can only offer a local pickup right now, unless you want to arrange and pay for a freight shipment (shipping dimensions: 35x48x77, ~80lbs). Don't really want to part with S117 but I'll be relocating soon and the place I'm going to won't be big enough for the both of us.

I can't say for sure, but I think only one or two of these were ever made for the Halo 2 launch event. Google Images only brings up two images, one can be found here (http://media.arstechnica.com/journals/thumbs.media/Halo%202%20Master%20Chief.jpg) and the other is on a photobucket which has exceeded its bandwidth limit. Both images could actually be of the same statue which I have sitting 3 feet away from me, making this a one-of-a-kind statue of a one-of-a-kind Soldier. Even if you didn't like how Halo 2 played out, the Master Chief rocked in two other very awesome Halo games. This statue of him would be a giant cherry on a giant Halo collectible cake if there ever was one...so if you're making a cake out of delicious Halo schwag, why not try your hand at this very rare and awesome statue?

Halo 2 Bungie Signed Poster board [ENDED]:

Ebay Auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320564386519).
HBO Thread (http://carnage.bungie.org/haloforum/halo.forum.pl?read=996289).

This is a signed poster board (about 0.2 inches thick) from the Halo 2 days. It has been signed by many of the folks who worked at Bungie during Halo 2's development (some may or may not continue to work there today). Note that up close, there are some noticeable scuff marks on the board (hence the "Used" condition). Images:

Halo 3 Signed (by Bungie) Legendary Edition Helmet [ENDED]:

Ebay Auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320569372979).

This is a Halo 3 Legendary Edition Helmet (plus stand and packaging). The helmet itself was signed by over 30 Bungie employees who helped make one of this past decade's greatest games. This item also comes with a letter of authenticity (which can be found in the pictures below). Originally, this helmet was sold on ebay back in 2008 (http://halo.bungie.org/news.html?item=22143), which is why the letter says "good luck with the auction". The letter was printed on official Bungie paper and includes a Bungie Crest (arm holding a lightning bolt) watermark.

Here is a break down of signatures on each side of the helmet:
Right - 2
Front - 1
Left - 5
Top - 27ish (I kept losing count when trying to count them all!)Images:

Halo 3 Signed (by Voice Actors) Legendary Edition Helmet [ENDED]:

Ebay Auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320574616271).

This is a Halo 3 Legendary Edition Helmet (plus stand, packaging, and game discs which are still factory sealed). It has been signed by 3 of the major cast members in Halo 3. Voices of SGM Johnson, Master Chief John-117, and Cortana. I originally won this item in a charity auction on ebay. This is the only helmet and Halo merchandise that I know of which has the signatures of all three of these voice actor's signatures.Images:

Halo 2 Prototype Figure + Limited Edition Spartan + Spectre [ENDED]:

Ebay Auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320574620504).

This is a Halo 2 prototype action figure (it was never sold in stores). Included with it are two boxed action figures, one of them being a Limited Edition Brown Spartan. The packaging for these two figures are in really rough shape sadly..Images:

Halo 3 Signed (Autographed) Game (with helmet) [ENDED]:

Ebay Auction (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320583271988).

This is a signed copy of the Halo 3 game. It includes the Halo 3 Legendary Helmet, Legendary game case and original game disc. It was signed by 6 Bungie Staffers including their Musical Master Mind: Marty O'Donnell. This was originally owned by a person whom I went on a tour with to Bungie's old studios in Kirkland. They later auctioned it off for school money and now I find myself doing the same. I have never used the game disc and I don't believe they did either so the disc is still in prime condition.

Kornman00
July 9th, 2010, 05:00 PM
Yeah, I got a freight shipping quote from UPS down the street and it was not cheap in anyway. Of course, they could only give an estimate and on the assumption that they had nothing else going to the destination (NY was used as it's the most expensive destination thus a good ceiling).

Hollywood Arts had a deal with a shipping service so their Business to Residence only cost them 306$.

I've seen at least three of these in local game retailers, the Future Shop I worked at had one in the warehouse waiting to be thrown out... I asked if I could take it home, got approval, then they scrapped it before I was able to arrange transport. :(

I'm sure quite a few people from retail stores now have these at home, since they're not really needed anymore.

Or not.. Seems to be to large, but the weight is fine >_>

Nice. Lying about your auction's picture (which is from MY auction: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320564386519). Smooth. I'm sure Jamie would be real proud of his grandmother.
I didn't realize it was your pieture, my brother and I googled posters we did not have duplicates of and cut and pasted so we did not have to open the ones we are selling. Yours is a signed poster, mine is not. And Jamie was killed in an accident so I doubt he would be too upset we googled a picture!Nana is a cheating whore (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-zKs1btHiw)! Next auction goes up Saturday (you'll have to wait and see what it is until then)! A total of 6 items will get put up on ebay between now and Reach's release (assuming life's schedule doesn't get in the way of my ability to post or set aside shipping). Overall, 8 of my collectible Halo items will have been put up on ebay this summer/fall. I have quite a few more rare/unique items up my sleeves after that, but when/if I even sell any of them will be told only by time.

Why is there digital camo anywhere on it, that wasn't anywhere in Halo was it?

When you say the boots aren't included, you're talking about boots you actually wear and then put the included "boot armor" over top of right? I'm vaguely interested in this since it's something I could re-sell at pretty much any time.

Amit
August 15th, 2011, 07:15 PM
There was urban camo pattern on the Halo 3 ODST, but since Korn is modern military, I think he likes the digital better. The only issue I have with the thigh pieces is that the digital camo almost looks brownish. Dark grey, light grey, and black urban digital camo is beast.

Kornman00
August 15th, 2011, 11:34 PM
The subdued ACU pattern was a design choice by me (since I have the uniform to go with it, in case I wanted to ditch the pure black undergarment). Pretty sure that "brown" coloring is due to his lighting (I just realized I didn't snap any pictures of the thigh pieces myself :s)

When I say boots, I'm talking about boots. Nothing more, nothing less.

Nero, that link is for the old auction from last year. However, it looks like I'll be getting a buyer here by tomorrow.

You include the stuff at 0:36 in the video though right? And those fit over the "boots" which aren't included?

Kornman00
August 16th, 2011, 12:15 AM
They're part of the "armor", so yes. Like I said, the only thing that wasn't included in the auction was any weapon props, boots, or gloves.

Also, found a buyer.
