This will most likely be my last project for halo ce. That said, I wanted to leave something that can be used for years to come and maybe even bring more to the community. What better than an updated log mod palette?

I'm sure we all remember the times when log mod and spark edit reign supreme.

I thought I would update this and bring it to HCE after years of modding. This is designed around the forge world palette and for people starting off, giving them bases and other objects to fill their map. I plan for atleast 50 different objects textured with default hek textures, but hope to get 150 objects. Maybe start a forge style of mapping for beginners.

Maybe I'll even get a map worked out as well.

Btw, I'll be releasing every tags I've made and still have along with this. I had fun making them, hopefully someone will have fun finishing it, fixing, and add their own personal touch to them.

I'm trying to keep the model with a good balance between detail and poly expense because some item may be instanced many many times.

Those to texture do not go well together.

Nice work so far, it will help expand the HEK nicely, although the name Log Mod makes me want to cringe.

too bad t'll look like shit, because scenery-shaders blow.

(unless they're buildingblocks for in max, then i'll shut up :P)

Naw, this is stuff for HPC. Since most tards are too lazy to download CE and make maps they just use sparkedit and build maps way above bloodgulch with logs.

It could also be used just as a new pack of default objects available for peoples custom maps.

I'm not going to be porting this to hpc. I know it's possible, I know the community can pmi, I'm not doing it for them; it's just a waste of my time to do it for every hpc map. I'll be releasing this for hce as tag files with the base models in a max file (yeah I'm doing all this in 1 max file right now).

I did not get as much time as I'd like to work on this, this week. I'll texture the rest when I get back from my trip next week, but here's the finished model.
