COD 4 Problems.

Ok, so I'm having problems with COD 4, as well as certain other games.

When I join a server, any server that's not a modded one, I begin to have this style of lag.

It's where I'm playing normally, then it just freezes for 1 second, then goes back to normal.

This also happens a bit on Counter Strike Source and Bad Company 2.


Is this a problem with my graphics card? or is it because of punk-buster or something?

What setting are you running the game at? Same thing happened to me until I turned them down.

I use them at max settings, but I keep that anti-thingy at around x2 or sometimes none.

Here's my specs, Am I supposed to update my graphic drivers or something?

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Vid. Card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU Q 720 @ 1.60GHz (8 CPUs), ~1.6GHz


It's also starting to do this to Bad Company 2.
