Ipod Problem

My ipod semi-crashed and I need to recover files from it. I tried using touchcopy and imtoo's software and it works but it's "trial" bullshit. I can't find any free tools to extract music. The only one I know of is sharepod but it hates my ipod ATM.

BTW it's a ipod touch with the OS 2.2.

Well what files do you want to recover? Is the Ipod connected as a USB device like a mem stick so you can use other software?

MediaMonkey will recover all music and extract it all I believe (I have it, I havent extracted music YET, but it does bring all your music up in its library)
