ok so after following the tutorial from ..

I have the dissolve effect working...

problem is that , cant get rid of the text that appears in the picture, anyone help with that? its annoying because the option for suppressing auto comments is on and yet it still shows the text on screen.

Do the comments appear in game?

yup , exactly the same way they do in the editing preview window, start up a DM and boom comments on screen.

Looks fine. I don't really know what the problem is. Try using a really simple shader for the "shield" thing your doing. If the error is still there then it's something wrong with your code/assets.

Tried it with the default stuff and still get the same result , still wondering what it could be here atm.

Try looking into the Uscript? See if there is a comment function called or something you need to remove.

I tried another approach , I followed the tutorial exactly , made the material work without modifying an existing one in UDK , and its still doing it, might be because im using the Feb build idk :/ I`ll try looking in the Uscript....
