What does this exception mean? I hate this kind of crap. Corrupted sound tags?

You have a sound with a gain greater than 1.

But why? My tagset was perfectly okay before until I tried to open up a test variant for Blood Gulch (testing AI) yesterday. It's not the AI neither; I opened a blank scenario of Blood Gulch and it did the same thing.

Oh go back to the Studio section. If you're not going to help then don't post. You're crapping up my thread and serve absolutely no purpose unless you help.
I tried re-extracting my entire sound tag folder, but no dice. It's odd too because even when I remove all sounds from my map (I remove all sound tags and other tags from the actual map) it quits out just as it loads.

Are you using any custom tags?

I was at first (the first variant was using CMT Elites and new AI I crafted up), but then I tried opening Concat (which I didn't modify) and a blank canvas of Bloodgulch (no tags beside BSP tags and decals), both of which quit out after they "loaded."

Alright, I recovered my tagset to a previous version (my most recent build) and now I have the infamous hud_base hud_stencil crap. I'll be back if it's not fixed.

Thanks Snaf and FRain.
I'm going to try compiling something in tool (I've been AFK from any HaloCE for a few days). If successful, then I'll just reinstall the HEK (I don't use stock tags that often and use my own subdirectory). If not successful, then I'm running out of ideas. If there is a sound tag that has a gain greater than 1, then it must be disrupting my entire tagset because even though I had a scenario with almost no tags (decals, it was BG), it still would not load.

Yeah, it will do that to me when running lightmaps, even if the tag isn't attached to the scenario or bsp in any certain way.

Yeah, I compiled a map (b40 too) perfectly fine. I guess Sapien is just having one of those deals. I'll restart my computer later and see if that helps (it has when weird stuff occurred before). I'll leave the thread open if I'm successful (or not) and if anyone has any other useful information they can gladly post that as well.
