Been savoring SC2, and I'm only just getting to char. I finished all of the other planets, but I'm wondering if I hit char, will I not be able to finish the protoss crystal missions? i finished two of them and was just wondering.

And they're totally worth it, too. Those are the trilogy plot, while the primary game is the "Raynor" plot. They work separately, but if you miss the Zeratul stuff, you're really missing out on a good chunk of the overarching plot line.

yeah, so that protoss mission where you have to defend to the last, i died when i had 1492 enemy deaths, so i just restarted and used a cheat code to end it. now no matter what i do, i can't get an achievment for it, even replaying it sans code. what the tits man, just spent a half hour, and made it to 6000 enemy kills, and it STILL said i had cheated.

Yeah it was kinda easy the second time... once you learn to just cannon up and colossus + stalker (more stalkers of course) crazy on 'em...

Has anyone managed to get the gold mineral field on that level? I just can't seem to get and keep it long enough to make back what I paid for it, no matter what I try.

I think I shoved all the carriers and void rays over there, + a bunch of cannons. It worked for quite a bit, soon enough though I finally got bored of the level and just 'completed' it since it was my first play-through and just wanted to see all of the story.

Yeah I had like 300 kills after the goal without trying. I literally just let the units stand around and die.
