Okay so my campus internet allows game ports to play over the net after 8pm to 12am, fine thats awesome. Fail 2 vista works, Fail of war pc works, but for some reason Halo CE and PC doesnt. It wont connect to gamespy arcades and I dont know why. Any suggestions?

Gamespy is only port 80, the same as your web browser. No idea why it won't query.

You yourself don't have a firewall or anything like that do you?

Do a DirectIP. Then we know if only Gamespy is blocked or Halo.

That's pretty harsh of your Uni. I get throttled to <100kb/s (slow enough I have to buffer a 10 second youtube video for like 17s) during the day but get unlimited between 8pm and 8am (no download cap either).

Especially when you have 3 T1's on the whole campus with less than 200 people attending the school.
Believe me firewall is not the problem otherwise I would have messed around with it.

UDP traffic block? Maybe try non-standard ports for halo (not 2302-2303)? Gamespy might need more than TCP port 80. When i start halo pc and head on to the get list button and press it i get TCP 80 (update-check probably) and 28910 used plus a whole bunch of UDP connections used, game-info from the servers online.
