That changed the coloring of your desktop as the day progressed to keep you from going blind at night. During the day, there was more blue, and at night it changed to red. Flex or flux or something? Can't remember for the life of me.

If you have Windows 7 and you can't get into the settings for reason, try running it under Windows Vista Sp1 or sp2 compatibility
