So ive been working on this project for my digital art class for a week now. Been working on it in class in CS4 and saved multiple versions on my flash drive.
I got home tonight.. put my flash into my laptop.. booted up photoshop 7.. and what do I find? That every single version gets an "End of file" error when i try and open it. Wtf!? is there any fix to this!? I gotta get this thing done and turned in tomorrow :smith:

This has happened to me before. Did you "safely remove" the drive from the computer before pulling the drive out of the USB port?

Yeah I did the eject thing so I could safely remove it. :/

Did you try to copy the files to your HDD first?
You can also try to right-click on the mem stick and then choose that error checking device and fix bad sectors etc.

Tried copying to my hard drive. I did the error checking thing and nothing was found. Completely stumped here

Well if your mem stick is not failing it might be that your Photoshop is running on a different version. Did you update it by any chance? Though this of course should not happen even though updated. How about uploading it and someone else tries to open it?

Nope same error. I compared it to other PSD files and it looks corrupted,
