Recettear is the story of an item shop, the girl who lives in it, and the fairy who turned her life upside down. Recette Lemongrass finds herself in charge of an item shop built into her house, in order to pay back a loan her father took and then skipped out on - and Tear, her newfound fairy "companion", won't take no for an answer!
Logged a little over 16 hours into it so far and got to the credits screen.. As of now its more profitable not to worry so much about the dungeons as market/guild hunting everyday. Endgame is a blast allowing you to level your adventurers and find even more adventurers to use--as well as going through the fucking crazy 50 and 100 floor dungeons.
Stuff like survival mode would pretty much be a continuation of the main story with insane amounts of pix that you'd have to make for each weeks due date. End game also introduces New Game+ which I guess is starting over from day 2 but keeping items and adventurer stats.
Recettear general?

This is one of those games that I can only think of in terms of how much excretion I can fling at it.

I'm tired and not feeling particularly civil at the moment. I see utterly no appeal in your moeblob lolifucker jrpg grinders.
also, I'll fling as much shit at reach as anyone, but it's a pretty good helmet nonetheless.

I dunno. Just how much good gameplay could you get out of an economy based game with lackluster 3d graphics. Especially at $20. Could be good, though.

The Educational value in this is benefiting shopkeepers. It teaches them if they want to make more profit they must leave the shop and begin to bludgeon everything in sight.

Hey since it hasn't been mentioned there's a demo on Steam if for whatever reason you didn't buy this already (because it owns)

After playing around with the adventurers unlocked thus far Tielle seems to be the most versatile. The mob arrow attacks destroy everything on screen.

If it owns so hard more than the demo should be on your games list. :?
