Is that more or less an internal speed test or do you actually get those speeds to servers outside your university?

I have no idea how uni internet works. It's shared between everyone and is slowed down?

Is your speed really slowed down and you are wondering why since the speed test returns fast results? or are you just bragging about how fast your schools internet speed is?

Read this (http://www.dslreports.com/faq/7135). Regardless of your download speed, if there are thousands of students using the internet at the same time, they are all connected to the same node, which means they all have to share the same bandwidth. You will notice certain times of every day the internet is slower because of network traffic. Other than that, there is a bajillion other reasons your internet could be slow. It's like early morning rush hour, we all hate it but it's inevitable.

:O Taken at 10~11pm. Using a college server to ping with. 8MS ping :O.

Impressive, but is that your dorm room net?

I live in a series of apartments a half mile from campus.
