Anyone ever played or heard of Jane's Fighters Anthology game? I use to play it when I was like 10 years old. It was released in 1997. It was fun. I was just wondering if there are any newer games out there like this one? I thought Tom clancy hawx was like this but it isn't it's different.

I still have my F-15 discs with the keymap sheet. I've looked far and wide for a good updated modern fighter simulator and there have been none since the late 90's.

Tom Clancy's HAWX series is an arcade game. There's no way a single fighter has 100+ of a missile in a simulator.

If you want World War II, get IL-2: Sturmovik and its expansions. There's also IL-2: Wings of Prey, but it's not quite as hard core as the original set of games; still fun though especially if you have never played the original set.

If you want modern, try Falcon 4 or DCS A-10. They are specific to their fighter types, but they are legit sims and not casual type games like HAWX.

I have Jane's WW2 fighters. It's such a great game, but I definitely recommend IL-2.

IL-2's true successor, Storm of War, is supposedly coming out in November. Let's hope it actually DOES come out this time.
