Sucked in a game? Completely manhandled? Well check this thread out and we'll tell you what to do!

I was utterly manhandled, which made me raege quit just now.

Righto First thing i notice is your terrible at spending money. we are like 2 minutes in and your miles behind in supply.

At the start build everything as soon as you can. a good solid start is this
Drones as soon as possible to 9 supply,
then overlord.
while it's building build another drone.

as soon as your Overlord pops you can build another 2 drones instantly because you'll have 100 mins. this takes you up to 12 supply.

Scouting:
Pull a drone off the line and send him to scout the map Do this at 12 supply (or earlier if you suspect a rush). Use OL's on scrap station and from what i can see you've got a semi idea about scouting. Just remember that when you send an OL if you let them spot it they'll know where you are without needing to scout. so just skirt the base and pull back as soon as you spot your first building.
Use way points if your your micro/macro isn't that fast, and this will allow you to concentrate more on your own base and keeping minerals low.

Continuing:
build another 2 drones as soon as possible. to get to 14 supply
then build an extractrator straight away.
build another drone to get back to 14 supply then throw down a Spawning pool as soon as you have your 200 mins.

this takes you back down to 13 supply.
as soon as your extractor finish'es building put 3 drones on it to harvest gas as fast as possible. Do this while making drones up till 16 supply.
as soon as you get to 16 supply build an OL

at this stage your starting to get a bit of resources money as well as a little gass. sit back and wait for your Spawning pool to finish.
As soon as your pool finish's you should have 100 gass, 250 mins, and your 2nd OL will pop out.
Build a queen, then with the 100/100 mins/gas left over buy the metabolic boost Upgrade for your zerglings from the pool. You will need this, it's basically essential to have speedlings through out the game.

build some more drones and then get 2 zerglings to either take the watch towers, or to get another scout on your opponents base.

The single biggest thing you need to know with zerg is that YOU NEED DRONES! MORE DRONES. Do this by spending every cent you get as fast as you can.

the second biggest thing is scouting the front.
with most maps if you place a zergling outside their base out of range and hidden from the players, you'll be able to see when they make an attack for you, and you should have enough time to throw down some spine crawlers and pump units and defend the push.
Dont be afraid to pull drones off the line to defend yourself and always remember that when he's pushing you in your base, as long as he doesnt have a proxy base his units will take a long time to get there to support his push. especially in the early game.
So hang in there and you should be able to push it back.

why didnt you build like a billion mutas as opposed to hydras. Speed, they own vikings banshees maruders, tanks scv's hellions.... and if you get a reasonable numbery ou can do to missle turrets what he did to yours with shees.
Just remember that Turrets will never ever save you, you much better spending the money on gas.

you showed a reasonable understanding in the tank/ rine push, your few mutas to hit the tanks while the rest of your army hit thr front, but you should of had your hydras there at the same time and countered. would of been game over.

also why did you have 22 hydras sitting at the gold while you transitioned into loosing your whole fucking base to a handful of shees lol

When you know he has shee's make sure you take a detector with your hydras. c'mon bro!
also as a note to yourself and his relentless smack talk, just remember that he plays terran and therefore he doesn't have a soul.
(he's also the worst terran i've ever seen lmfao. I mean seriously when a man has mass hydras why the fuck would you mass Maruders XD)

I've been watching those Day[9] Daylies so I've gotten a LOT better than what I usually do. Oh, and when he flew those banshees right into my base I had like nothing... And I didn't make as many mutas as I should have because my reasoning was that I could mass 2 hydras for the 1 muta I would get outta that gas. and you're right about me not spending my money.

Gotta work on mah hotkeys, and I thought I would have gotten manhandled by the vikings through the range that vikings give. I was probably too psyched out by the smack talk to think properly because normally I have 3 bases up and running by the 15 minute mark if I can afford it.

And lol you should have seen my previous replay. I had 8 queens and like 10 hydras fighting mutas. :D

Edit: ANd in that 30 hydra push I lost my OS :'(

Thanks, I need an effective build order outside of what i've been doing most often: 16 hatch then pool and 8 queens. You caught a glimpse of the number of queens I get this game but it was a poor example.
