My parent's keyboard prevents them from logging into Windows 7.

Sorry for the title, but I'll explain in more detail below.

My parent's computer is acting funny. Its at the login screen, and they are trying to get to the desktop. The problem is, if you try to type actual letters/numbers, it doesn't do anything, but pressing space/backspace types stuff in.

Anyone have any idea what this means?

So apparently my sister turned on Keyboard Shortcut mode by accident, and I have no idea how to turn it off (This is the error I posted above)

Anyone have an idea on how to turn it off?

Edit: Problem solved, said sister jammed the right ctrl key, popped it loose and its working, thread closed
