I got a Wii recently, and I've been looking for a shooter other than Metroid to play on it, that isn't also on PC or other consoles.

So anyone here tried out the Daniel Craig-ified modernized Goldeneye for the Wii? Thoughts?

From screenshots and trailers it's been looking fairly impressive (at least better than the disappointing Blood Stone). I am a bit mad about how they removed the Walther PPK and replaced it with the P99 though... the PPK just feels more Bond-worthy than the P99!

I've never actually played an FPS with the Wii remote (heard it's nothing like using a light gun though), so I'm most curious as to whether it's best to use the Wii remote or to plug in a GC/Classic gamepad and play it in the style of other consoles.

Game Informer gave it some pretty low scores, saying it lacked personality compared to the original and that gameplay was gimped by certain graphical blunders.

is this game even classic controller compatible? I'd say fuck the classic controller. get a gamecube controller if it'd work.

looks decently up to par with other wii games, really.. it's practically nothing more than a gamecube with motion control. sucks about it is if it doesn't support wii speak or keyboards there's no way to really chat

disregard what I said about the classic controller. Looks like they finally managed to un-fuck it from the original design.
