This thread otherwise known as "documenting the documents"
Yeah I'm back for now. Not going to post as much, mostly just lurk, but that's besides the point of why I'm even posting right now.
The event I am referring to is the cable at: http://cablegate.wikileaks.org/cable/2006/08/06MOSCOW9533.html
On November 28th Wikileaks began releasing major documents which were leaked to them. These documents total to over 250k, and consist of "cables" from US diplomats to the US government, presumably the Pentagon as well as the White House.
I will be using Modacity's wiki to (attempt to) document at least one of these every day, specifically diplomatic relations relating to Russia as well as Pakistan, and hope you will join with me as well.
Here's some Good reading on the subject:
Some Mili-Freak comments on the leaks (http://wartard.blogspot.com/2010/11/wikileaks-and-death-of-american.html)
http://cablegate.wikileaks.org/index.html
I'm not here to debate whether or not the leaking is something that's legal/otherwise, but now that the documents are out, people should be going through them to take a look and see what it is like to have diplomatic relations with other countries.
